Terms of Service
Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Locations App, a platform developed by AMK Films to help users discover and explore potential filming locations. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
Subscription and Fees
Subscription Model: The App operates on a subscription basis. You can choose between:
Monthly subscription: $20 per month.
Annual subscription: $200 per year.
Commercial Use: Commercial use of the App is allowed and expected, in line with these Terms.
Billing and Payment: Subscription fees are billed automatically at the start of each billing period. All fees are non-refundable.
Use of the App
Permitted Use: You may use the App for both personal and commercial purposes.
Prohibited Activities: You may not:
Reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App or its content.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its servers.
Use the App to collect or harvest information about other users.
User Content
User Submissions: You may submit content, such as reviews or ratings of locations. By submitting content, you grant AMK Films a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, perform, display, and distribute your content for any purpose.
User Content Standards: Your content must not:
Be unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or discriminatory.
Violate intellectual property rights or other rights of any person or entity.
Contain viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
Intellectual Property
Ownership: The App, its content, and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by AMK Films or its licensors.
Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable license to access and use the App.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OR CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE APP.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL AMK FILMS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY), ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP OR ITS CONTENT.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AMK Films and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles, California.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of any material changes via the App or other means. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
