The journey was packed with challenges, from unpredictable wildlife to heavy machinery, and faced severe weather. We battled through storms, relentless rain, and even a hurricane that destroyed part of the set—all while filming. Each obstacle only heightened our determination to deliver dynamic, breathtaking visuals. Despite the chaos, our commitment to capturing every jaw-dropping moment never wavered.
The Adventure Begins
The Georgia heat, the buzzing energy, and the roar of engines filled the air as our team set up for this incredible shoot. With dangerous wildlife lurking and heavy machinery in constant motion, we had to stay sharp—every step mattered. But that didn’t stop us; if anything, it added to the thrill. From the start, we were all-in, ready to capture these jaw-dropping stunts from angles only a drone could deliver.

Leading the Charge – The Drone Teams
Aaron Kahn, founder of AMK Films, led Team A as the lead drone pilot, expertly maneuvering through intense race and obstacle scenes. With aerial camera operator Hrant Grant Gulesserian by his side, they brought fans closer to the action than ever before—dodging debris, zooming through the chaos, and delivering shots that made every jump feel bigger and every crash harder.
Meanwhile, Team B, led by Gabe De La Parra and aerial camera operator Luca Mercuri, didn’t miss a beat. Together, we covered the entire track, ensuring no moment was left uncaptured.
What Makes Truck Night in America Epic
If you haven’t tuned in yet, Truck Night in America is an adrenaline-fueled series where drivers push their custom trucks and jeeps to the absolute limit. Each episode throws five drivers into a gauntlet of wild obstacles, including The Green Hell—a treacherous swamp, a towering mountain of crushed cars, and heart-stopping jumps. The stakes? $10,000 and the coveted title of “Truck Night Champion.
Drivers face a relentless series of challenges designed to test their trucks’ speed, strength, and handling. They must make quick adjustments on the fly to tackle each new obstacle, whether it’s a 1947 Dodge Power Wagon or a 1978 Jeep CJ7. Every episode features a dynamic mix of vehicles and personalities, ensuring that each shoot is as unique as it is thrilling.
Drone Challenges & Highlights
Capturing the high-octane action of Truck Night in America was no small feat, but we were ready for the challenge. Our drones flew at speeds of up to 55 mph, skimming over mud pits, soaring through dense forests, and diving right into the thick of the action. One standout moment was a breathtaking shot through low-lying fog over a lake, which beautifully captured the natural scenery while amplifying the competition’s intensity.
We also nailed those close-up flybys and heart-stopping moments when trucks barely crossed the finish line. Every shot involved split-second decisions to dodge obstacles and keep the footage rolling, making each capture a thrilling rush.
